NCT Member Excluded At Bangkok Concert, Triggers Massive Backlash

Fans were appalled.

This past weekend, NCT 127 held their fifth tour concert, THE REDLINE, in Bangkok, Thailand.

However, despite a great show, it received significant online attention after a fan discovered picket signs that excluded leader Taeyong.

In the photos, they claim that they are happy because of the group, but the doll images exclude Taeyong and include ex-member Mark.

This began spreading like wildfire online, with other fans discovering other posters and pickets excluding Taeyong.

As the issue escalated, the fan who held the picket posted an apology and explanation online.

“First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize to Taeyong and all his fans, as well as to the other members and their fans who were also affected or mentioned in this situation.

When I was making the banners, I genuinely believed that I had included his character. It was only after seeing a post on Twitter pointing out that Taeyong’s character was missing that I realized my mistake.

I was also rushing because I had made several banners and failed to double-check everything carefully.

I have never had any intention of excluding or not supporting any member of NCT. I want to make that absolutely clear. I accept all criticism, harsh words, and advice directed towards me. I will learn from this mistake and make sure that something like this never happens again.”

However, despite the apology, many fans rejected it, stating that they were just making more excuses.
